Document Size Calculator

The average size of a scanned document can vary depending on several factors such as the resolution of the scanner, the type of document being scanned (text, images, etc.), and the file format of the scanned document.

A scanned document can be saved in different file formats such as JPG, PNG, PDF, and TIFF. The size of the scanned document also depends on the image resolution, the higher the resolution the larger the file size.

  • For example, a scanned document saved as a PDF at 300 dpi resolution could be around 500 KB to 1 MB.
  • A scanned document saved as a TIFF at 600 dpi resolution could be around 2 MB to 4 MB.
  • A scanned document saved as a JPG at 100 dpi resolution could be around 200 KB to 500 KB.

Please note that these are approximate values and the file size can vary depending on the specific document being scanned and the settings of the scanner.
